Our Work

The Daughters of Mumbi Global Resource Center is inspired and informed by the struggles of African women past and present.  We seek to add value to the work and struggles of peoples’ movements in Kenya and across Africa through local organizing, regional capacity building and policy advocacy. We locate our contributions in multiple contexts - the local, national, regional, continental and global - with a deep commitment to engage grassroots, women and other broad civil society formations. Our work centers on the fight for Justice, dignity, peace and sustainability for all.
