The Kihumo Alpha Farmers Group

Kihumo Alpha Farmers Group joined Daughters of Mumbi Network in August 2005 as one of the original groups in the network.  The group is made up of 30 members; 18 women and 12 men who are small scale farmers in the Muthiga area of Kikuyu, in Kiambu County.  The main objective of the group was to start income generating activities to better the lives of the members.
